Marine Surveyor and Lead Auditor

Bollard Pull and Bitts / Bollard Tension Testing & Certifications

S&A Services is a company highly experienced in the safe performance of Bollard Pull testing and certification of tugboats and support vessels. Bollard Pull is measured using certified Bollards / Bitts and Dynamometers for testing the pulling power of the vessel when she has zero speed in the forward direction. Additionally, we carry out the test of mooring bollards (Bitts), pulling bollards with a test rig that include jacking equipment and/or pulling test similar mooring hardware one-against-the-other to test two pieces of mooring hardware at once using the same jacking equipment.
